There's a story I heard when I was wee, joining the Brownies. It's about a little girl who wants to see the magical creature, called a Brownie, who helps others and makes the world a better place. A wise owl tells her to perform a ritual beside a clear pool in the forest, then to look in the pool - and a Brownie will be revealed to her. Who does she see in the pool? No one but herself. Sometimes it might seem like the world needs magical creatures to keep it, and it's inhabitants, whole and healthy and as beautiful as they can be. But at the end of the day there is only us. And each and every one of us can do something to help. You can help companion animals by helping us at RAWR. And you can help them every day as you go about your lives. Here's some suggestions.
